South Burlington, VT - Sophomore Gina Arnone (Bridgewater, NJ) had a hat trick and senior Michelle Panella (Marlboro, NJ) added two goals and two assists as Sacred Heart scored four unanswered goals in the third period and earned a 6-2 win over Holy Cross on Saturday in the semifinals of the 2007 ECAC Open Tournament at Cairns Arena.

The Crusaders took a 2-1 lead 1:33 into the second on a goal by Kathryn O'Connor, and would lead for most of the period. Arnone tied the game for the Pioneers with 53 seconds left in the stanza.
Panella scored what turned out to be the game winning goal 4:22 into the second period. Just 1:50 later, sophomore Allie Gillman (Montreal, QC) tallied an insurance goal. Arnone scored two more goals late in the period to blow the game open.
For the Pioneers, Freshmen Sandy Parlato (Needham, MA) and Brittany Rosselle (Pawling, N.Y.) had three and two assists, respectively, while senior Stephanie Boulay (Anchorage, AK) stopped 21 shots in net.
With the win, Sacred Heart advances to Sunday's 2 p.m. Championship Game against top-seed Saint Anselm College, a 9-0 winner versus host Saint Michael's College in today's first semifinal.
