ORONO, ME (January 7) - The University of Maine Black Bears used seven different goal scorers to turn away the Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey team 8-0 in action Friday afternoon.

The Pioneers struggled offensivley all game managing only 11 shots on goal and were held without a shot on goal in the first period. The Black Bears put 60 shots on SHU goalie Stephanie Boulay who finished the night stopping 52.

The two teams lock up again Saturday afternoon at 12:00 PM.
