Women's Hockey Loses 6-0 at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn - The Sacred Heart women's hockey team lost their second game of the season Friday night, 6-0 to the Yale Bulldogs at Ingalls Rink in New Haven. SHU drops to 2-2 on the young season.

Sacred Heart and Yale played a scoreless first period in which senior goaltender Alexis Schutt (Elk River, MN) stopped all 14 shots that came her way. Schutt made 48 saves in the game.

Yale went on to scored three goals in the second and three in the third to put away the Pioneers. Sophomore forward Lynne Kennedy scored the game's first two goals for Yale, assisted by sophomore forward Jamie Haddad each time. After Kennedy's first two, four different Bulldogs added to the cause.

Sacred Heart now has a couple of weeks off to prepare for their November 2nd tilt against Saint Anselm in Manchester, New Hampshire.
