FAIRFIELD, Conn (July 28, 2007) - Sacred Heart University Women's Golf Head Coach Matt McGreevy announced the upcoming 2008 fall schedule on Tuesday. The Pioneers, who are looking to build off the program's most successful year, will start the season at the Hanover Country Club for the Dartmouth Invitational on September 14th, 15th, and 16th.

From there the Pioneers will make their third consecutive showing at the Princeton University Inviational on September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. From there SHU will shoot up the Merritt Parkway and particiapte for the first time in the Yale Intercollegiate Tournament on September 28th, 29th, and 30th.

October will be highlighted by a trip to the ECAC Championship in Williamsburg, VA on the 5th, 6th, and 7th, followed but the Rutgers University Invitational on 11th, 12th, and 13th.

The Pioneers will finish the fall portion of the schedule by hosting the 3rd Annual Sacred Heart University Fall Classic the 27th, 28th, and 29th at their home course, the Great River Golf Club in Milford.

"This is a very competitive schedule," stated McGreevy. "We are looking for the team to rise to the occasion with this schedule and I believe they are ready."
