NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Sacred Heart women's golf team finished tied for 17th overall at this past weekend's Yale Fall Intercollegiate Invitational. The Pioneers posted a team score of 330, tied with Penn, at the Yale University Golf Course.

Senior Jennifer Tierney (Danbury, CT) was the Pioneer's top-golfer, firing a 77 on the par-71, 6,105 yard course to finish tied for 21st. The event was limited to just one round of golf after Saturday's round was rained out.

Sacred Heart will take part in the ECAC Tournament this weekend at the Kiskiack Golf Club in Williamsburg, VA.
