PRINCETON, N.J. (September 21, 2008) - The Sacred Heart women's golf team finished 14th at the Princeton Invitational over the weekend. The Pioneers shot a team score of 669 at the two-day event held at the Springdale Golf Course.

SHU was led by freshman Michelle Riber (Stockholm, Sweeden) who shot an 81 and 80 over the two day event. Senior Jennifer Tierney (Danbury, CT) shot an 83 and 81 at the par 72, 6,138 yard course.

The Pioneers are back in action next weekend at the Yale Invitational in New Haven.
