Fairfield, CT - Senior Carisa Eye (Nesconset, NY) has been selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association 2008 Senior All-Star Game. The game will be held at 7:30 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY.

Eye a former All-American and All-Region player, as well as Northeast Conference Player of the Year, leads the Northeast Conference in scoring this year with 39 points and 18 goals. She is ranked 10th in the country in scoring average and is sixth in goals per game. Eye holds Sacred Heart school single game, season and career records in nearly every offensive category. She has led the team in scoring in each of her four seasons and has eight hat tricks career and 21 multi-goal games in her four year career.

The Pioneers will continue their chase for the NEC playoffs when they visit Saint Francis (PA) Sunday at 12:00 pm. SHU then closes the season at home against Quinnipiac on Thursday October 30 at 3:00 pm.
