Final Stats

LOUDONVILLE, NY (October 25, 2009) – The Sacred Heart Pioneers field hockey lost a Northeast Conference contest in overtime 2-1 at Siena Sunday afternoon.  Senior forward Kelsey Zeyher (Poughkeepsie, NY) notched her first goal of the season in the loss.

 

Zeyher gave the Pioneers the lead in the seventh minute of the game from the top right of the circle.  In net for SHU, junior Kim Stow (Norwalk, CT/Norwalk) made five saves.

 

The Pioneers fell to 2-15 overall and 1-5 in the NEC, while the Saints improved to 4-14 and 2-4.

 

Sacred Heart wraps up the 2009 season with a pair of home contest next weekend against Saint Francis (PA) and Robert Morris.
