Fairfield, CT - Junior Carisa Eye (Nesconset, NY) scored the only goal of the game just over one minute into the contest and Sacred Heart hung on to beat Siena, 1-0, in field hockey action Friday at Campus Field.

Eye's goal came just 1:05 into the game when she collected a loose ball, dribbled into the circle and fired a shot past Siena goaltender Renne Clavette. The goal was Eye's league leading 12th of the season.

The Pioneers dominated the play offensively, outshooting the Saints 28-7. Juniors Whitney Mills (Harrisburg, PA) and Kristen McIntire (Avon, CT) combined for their fourth straight shutout.
