FAIRFIELD, CT - Freshman saber sensation Krista Bacci was named to the Northeast Womens Fencing Conference last team this week. Krista had a 28-5 record during league compettion and had the second best record in womens saber.

"This is a phenomenal accomplishment for Krista" said Pioneer head coach Dr. Tom Vrabel. "She has a great future in college fencing has a real chance for all american status in future years".

Bacci's great season helped propel the Pioneers to a 6-5 record and earn a regular season tie for sixth place in the 12-team league.
