NEW HAVEN, CT - Despite a determined effort, the women's fencing team fell to Yale 21-6 at the Payne Whitney Gymnasium. Liz Mordecai, Krista Bacci, Courtney Perlee, Ali Roach, Catie Sagevick, and Mary Dannegger all posted individual victories in the contest.

"Yale has their strongest women's team in years and it was great to see how hard our young squad fought against very powerful competition comments head coach Dr. Tom Vrabel". "Yale is one of the favorites for the Ivy League Championship and it was evident in their performance tonight. I am very proud of how our young team fought and supported each other. Their determination and attitude was fantastic".
