NEWTOWN, CT - In the wake of a banner freshman season, Lauren Pierce continued by winning Reserve Champion honors in the Intermediate Fences division at today's Zone 3, Region 1 Horse Show. For her efforts, she has earned a trip to Saturday's Zone 3 Championship Horse Show.

Joining Pierce at the April 10th show will be SHU Alumna Kristine Brackenridge. Brackenridge finished the regular season as the 2003-2004 Zone 3, Region 1 High Point Alumni Flat rider. At Regionals, Krissy earned Reserve Champion Honors in her division (Alumni Flat). This will mark Brackenridge's third trip to Zones, but her first as an alumni.

For both riders, a first or second at the Zone 3 Horse Show will earn them an invitation to the IHSA National Horse Show.
