Equestrian Team Rides Well - Qualifies for IHSA Zone Championships

Sacred Heart equestrian co-captain Casey Marino led the Pioneers to its first Zone qualifier when she took second place in the Intermediate Over Fences Class this weekend at the IHSA Regionals hosted by Hofstra University. The top three finishers in each class advance to the Zone Championships to be held Sunday May 29, at Centenary College in Hackenstown, NJ. [+]

EquestrianPioneer Equestrian Takes English Competition from South DakotaThe Sacred Heart equestrian team closed out its regular season competition this weekend by defeating the University of South Dakota in the English portion of a varsity meet. Sophomore Julie Law was the judge's choice for best in jumping, while freshman Adrianna Dattoli was chosen for Flats. South Dakota captured the Western riding portion of the event. [+] |

10/19/2008 - W. EquestrianSHU Equestrian Team Rides at HofstraFour teammates travelled to compete at Hofstra's IHSA show. Co-captains Casey Marino and Sarah Aquilla, joined by Julie Law and Nicole D'Agostino had a successful day. Marino grabbed a 1st place in her Intermediate Over Fences class, while Law managed to snatch a 6th place in her Novice Over Fences despite a pigeon's interference. [+] |
