ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Sacred Heart Equestrian team, seeded seventh in the National Championships, were upset by #10 Baylor in the first round of the tournament being hosted by New Mexico State on Thursday. Baylor won the head-to-head matchup in the Hunt Seat competition, 737-657.

Junior Lauren Pierce finished with the highest scoring Pioneer in the competition and had the second highest score overall against Baylor with 152 points in her second ride of the day.
