Justin Gregory is a Fairfield County native who grew up on the northeast "A" show circuit. He began his riding career at the Fairfield County Hunt Club with Emerson Burr and Sarah Dalton-Morris. From there, Justin went on to train with Robin Greenwood at Grand Central Show Stables/Old Salem Farm where she arranged for Justin to work with other top trainers while under her guidance. In an effort to perfect his equitation, Justin was assisted by Frank Gomboloy, Jeffery Welles, Jim Toon, Norma DelloJoio, Bill Cooney, Kip Rosenthal and Andre Dignelli. With the start of the 2004 - 2005 season, Justin enters his fourth season as co-head coach of the Sacred Heart Equestrian team. In that time, he has coached riders to high ribbons at the Regional, Zone and National level. Under his guidance, riders have consecutively earned the prestegious Zone 3, Region 1 Reserve High Point Rider title. In April 2004, he led the team to a team best national finish, 3rd place, at the NCAA Varsity Equestrian Championship in Conyers, GA. As an undergraduate, Justin competed in the Open Division where he made 3 consecutive appearances at IHSA Nationals (1996 - 1998). A 3-year member of the Sacred Heart Equestrian Team, Justin became the first SHU rider to compete in the prestegious Cacchione Cup Competition at IHSA Nationals (1998) where he finished 6th. Justin has also competed as a member of the International Intercollegiate Equestrian Association (IIEA) where he won the Student Nation's Cup in Holland in 1998. A graduate of Greens Farms Academy, Fairfield Prep, Justin attended St. Andrews University before transferring to and graduting from Sacred Heart University in 2001. Justin owns and operates Fox Ridge Farm, a boarding and training facility, in Newtown, CT.
