She is from Mt. Sinai, NY and went to Mt. Sinai High School.

Personal: In high school, Sarah was on the honor roll. Her parents are Lisa and Andrew Buttelman, and she has a brother, Eric. She has two pets; a dog named Lucas and a horse named Destiny. Her role model is her trainer Darlene Raynor. Her equestrian achievements include: competing and winning in the Mystic summer festival, Hits on the Hudson, and the Winter equestrian festival, where spent a month in Wellington, Florida competing. She has been riding for 10 years and the equestrian team was one of the reasons she chose Sacred Heart University, as well as the closeness to her home. Her favorite move is Elf, she loves the Yankees, and loves pasta and other Italian food. Her major is undecided.
