FAIRFIELD, CT - Freshman Sarah Pelletier (Lewiston, ME) of the women's bowling team has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Sacred Heart University Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 28-February 3.

Pelletier was named Most Valuable Player at the Mid-Winter Classic hosted by Arkansas State this past weekend. During the three-day event, Pelletier helped the Pioneers to a 14-1 head-to-head record and a second place finish in total pinfall in the 20-team event. She averaged 218.7 over the first two days of the tournament to lead the field of 104 bowlers. He high game for the weekend was a 258.

The team is 29-2 since the break to bring their overall season record to 50-11 (.819).
