Savannah Zientara Selected Enterprise Rent-A-Car/SHU Student Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Savannah Zientara (Lewiston, NY) of the women's bowling team has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Sacred Heart student athlete of the week forJanuary 25-31. Zientara led the team with a 205 average as the Pioneers posted an 11-4 match play record at the Kutztown Invitational last weekend. She also bowled in the anchor spot during baker games, providing clutch strikes all weekend. [+]
2/1/2010 - Bowling#17 Sacred Heart Finishes Strong Weekend at Kutztown InvitationalThe Sacred Heart women's bowling team got off to a perfect 5-0 start and finished 11-4 in match play this weekend at the Kutztown Invitational. The Pioneers would finish the tournament in seventh place, competing in a field with numerous national championship contenders. Savannah Zientara (Lewiston, NY) led SHU with a 205.67 average in six traditional games and posted a baker frame average above 20. [+] |

The Pioneers posted a 4-9 record thorugh the three day event and were led by Marissa Gagliardi (North Branford, CT) and Savannah Zientara (Lewiston, NY).
