MILLSBORO, DE - Sophomore Sarah Pelletier (Lewiston, ME) was named the Tournament MVP as she helped the Sacred Heart University women's bowling team finish 7th in a field of 20 teams at the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawk Classic this weekend.

The Pioneers, who finished the weekend 15-3 in head-to-head competition, finished 7th in total pinfall. The Pioneers are now 25-13 this season.

SHU won its first five matches Sunday afternoon downing Elizabeth City State (719-592), Delaware State (766-751), Hampton (704-631), LIU (632-618) and St. Peter's (652-618). The Pioneer day ended with a 737-697 to Northeast Conference leader Kutztown University.
