NASHVILLE, TN - The Sacred Heart University women's bowling team used a 5-1 record on the second day of the Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University to secure a seventh-place finish in the 21-team field on Sunday.

Central Missouri won the title by two pins over host Vanderbilt. New Jersey City placed third, followed by Alabama A&M in fourth and Arkansas State in fifth. Fairleigh Dickinson finished in sixth, just 31 pins ahead of the Pioneers in seventh.

The lone Pioneer loss on day two was to Vanderbilt, a close 748-730 setback.
