High School Girl's Basketball Day Registration Form in PDF Format ![]()
All high school girls' basketball teams and high school students are invited to participate in the Greater Tri-State High School Girl's Basketball Day on Saturday, December 1, 2007 as the Pioneers take on Brigham Young University of the Western Athletic Conference at 2:00 pm in the William H. Pitt Center.
The 2007 Northeast Conference runner-up Pioneers are coming off their second straight NEC championship game appearance, after earning the 2006 NEC regular season and tournament championships enroute to the their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament where they battled eventual national champion Maryland at Penn State in the first round. This past weekend saw the birth of a new and intense rivalry in southwestern Connecticut as the Pioneers took on Fairfield University at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport in front of 5,018 raucous fans in a truly electric atmosphere in a game that was not decided until the final possession.
High school teams and any other general students interested in attending our game against BYU to cheer on the Pioneers need to fax a copy of their roster to 203/ 371-7889 to the attention of Mark Adzigian, Associate Athletic Director for External Relations.
All rosters must be received by 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2007. The names of all players, coaches and other general students attending must be included on the roster. To check in at the game on December 1st, all students will need to have a picture ID in order to pick up their ticket.
The Greater Tri-State High School Girl's Basketball Day pass list can also be downloaded online from our official athletics website at SacredHeartPioneers.com, filled out and returned to the Sacred Heart Athletic Marketing Office.
