The Pioneers have won two-straight over the Peahens and now trail the all-time series, 4-2. SHU has won four-straight against teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) dating back to last season. Sacred Heart is 5-1 against the MAAC in their Division I history.

Senior Amanda Pape had her third game over 20 points this season, scoring 25 in the win. She added a career-high 15 rebounds to complete the double double, her second this year and the 19th of her career.

Pape continues to play major minutes, logging 39 in Wednesday's win, right on her season average.

For the first time this season SHU did not go to the free throw line in the first half of a game. The Pioneers made up for it in the second half, hitting 18-of-20, a season-best 90.0%.

The Pioneers tied their season-high with 43 rebounds. It is the third time this season SHU outrebounded an opponent going 2-1 in those games.

SHU forced 22 turnovers Wednesday night, the sixth-straight game the have forced their opponent into 20 or more miscues.

Sophomore center Kaitlin Sowinski was held to a season-low two points on one-of-eight shooting against Saint Peter's. Her two-point performance snapped a seven-game scoring streak in double figures.
