Sacred Heart extended their home winning streak to 13-straight over NEC schools. The Pioneers are now 49-7 at home all-time against NEC opponents.
The Pioneers also extended their streak to eight-straight over FDU and are now 12-1 all-time.
Monday marked the third time this season the Pioneers have come back from losing at halftime to post a victory. SHU is 3-5 in games when they trail at the break. It was their first win this season when trailing with 10 minutes to play (1-6). They are 9-1 now when leading at the 5 minute mark.
The Pioneers forced 20 or more turnovers for the eighth time this season, resulting in a 6-2 record in those games.
SHU has won three-straight for the first time this season. The Pioneers are 4-0 in the NEC and are currently tied for first place with Robert Morris (3-0).
Amanda Pape's nine rebounds moved her into fifth place all-time on the career rebounds list. Pape now has 726 career boards, moving her past Heather Yablonski (724) 1996-00.
Pape failed to get to the free throw line for the second time this season, also marking just the second time in her career, 104 games, that she did not shoot at least one free throw. Earlier this season at Brown was the last time, also the only game this year she has failed to score in double figures.
