Ebony Hollingsworth is making her collegiate coaching debut as a member of Ed Swanson's staff, following a distinguished playing career at American International College. Her duties include film exchange, junior mailings, coaching the post positions and on-court assistance.
The Capitol Heights, MD native helped guide her AIC Yellow Jackets to 20 or more wins in each of her four years at the school. As a sophomore, she led her team to the New England-10 Conference Championship and into the NCAA Tournament Elite-8 in Rochester, MN. Outside of her accomplishments on the court, Hollingsworth was also a standout student athlete in her community. She was a member of the AIC Woman's Organization as well as the Peer Mentoring Program. She also worked with the Kids to College Program and with several elementary school programs in the Springfield, MA community.
Holligsworth graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in May 2004. She is currently working on her master's degree in Arts and Teaching at Sacred Heart.
