2002-03 Captain
A take-charge player who wants the ball in important situations. Enters the season as the starting two-guard and will be counted on to provide scoring. Also a Dean's List student.
2001-02: A scoring threat all season, averaging 8.2 points in 29 games…Finished as the Pioneers third-leading scorer…Netted double figures 11 times…Tied her career-high with 18 points against Long Island (1/5/02)…Grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds versus Quinnipiac (1/12/02)…Dished out nine assists, a career-high against Columbia (12/5/01)…Hit for 15 points, on 10-for-10 from the free throw line, in SHU’s NEC quarterfinals win over Quinnipiac (3/2/02)…A Dean’s List Student.
2000-01: Durmer won two pulsating games in the final seconds…Her length-of-court lay-up at the buzzer upended Robert Morris, 67-66, on the road (1/11/01), and her free throw in overtime-edged Central Connecticut State, 74-73, in the Pitt Center (1/25/01)…She led the team with 41 three-pointers -- fifth in the NEC on a per-game basis with 1. 46 -- and 76 assists, and was second with 38 steals…Increased her scoring average to 8.2, with a personal high of 16 against both Brown (1/08/01) and St. Francis/Pa. (2/12/01).
1999-00: Became the starting point guard midway through her freshman season, leading the squad with 63 assists and averaging 5.8 ppg…Scored a season-high 14 points in the 64-61 win over Lehigh (2/09/00).
High School: As a senior, Durmer was named the Boston Globe’s Player of the Year in New Hampshire after leading Nashua High to the state championship…Also earned All-State and Miss New Hampshire Basketball honors. Averaged 10 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds as a senior.
