Jen Curran is begining her third year as a member of the Pioneer coaching staff. Curran previously served a two-year stint as an assistant at the University of New Haven. Her duties include scheduling, assisting with film exchange, team academic monitoring, along with coaching the guard position, game planning, scouting and on-court assistance. While at UNH, Curran was involved in all aspects of recruiting, academic monitoring, community service, practice and game management, fundraising, marketing, and all other day-to-day functions of the Chargers basketball program. She was also responsible for scouting, compliance, strength and conditioning, and travel. During her two years at New Haven, the program won the 2003-04 regular season New York Collegiate Athletic Conference title, posted back-to-back 20 win seasons, had two-straight conference tournament semifinal appearances, as well as a berth in the 2002-03 NCAA Division II Tournament. A 2002 graduate of Brandeis University, Curran earned her degree in Arts in American Studies and also completed the school's legal studies program. While at Brandeis, she was four year-starter and two-year captain for the Judges and earned all-conference honors three times during her playing career. Named as the team's MVP as a junior and senior, Curran finished her career fifth on the school's all-time scoring list and became only the fourth player to have her number retired by the university.
