For the 17th straight year, the Sacred Heart women's basketball team clinched a berth into the NEC Tournament with Saturday's win over Central Connecticut.


Not-So Manic Mondays...
After downing the Blackbirds for the second straight Monday, the Pioneers come into Monday's rematch with Robert Morris a perfect 5-0 when playing on Mondays.


Contributing Trio...
For the first time this season, the Pioneers have three players averaging double-digit points. With 14 points against the Blue Devils on Sunday, Kelcey Castro's scoring average bumped up to 10.0 points per game. Hannah Kimmel and Alissa Tarsi still lead the squad averaging 16.8 and 12.2 points per game respectively.


On a Roll...
Completing the season sweeps of both Brooklyn NEC teams and Central Connecticut in the last three games, the Sacred Heart women's basketball team has now won 11 of its last 12 games.
