Chris Davis Finishes Fourth at 141 Pounds in CAA Championships

Chris Davis (Mohawk, NY) placed fourth in his weight class at the CAA Championships held this weekend. Davis finished the weekend with a 2-2 record and recorded a technical fall in his first round match. Anthony Priore (Garwood, NJ) also recorded a 10-4 win over Robert Robinson of Drexel University. Wrestling Drops 27-9 Contest at Rider

The Sacred Heart wrestling team was unable to earn a three match win streak as they fell to the Rider Broncos 27-9 Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers got wins from Chris Davis (Mohawk, NY), Cory Dunn (Rutherford, NJ), and Anthony Priore (Garwood, NJ) but SHU could not find a win and dropped to 7-10 and 0-6 in the CAA this season. [+]

Sacred Heart Escapes with 24-19 Victory over Princeton

The Sacred Heart wrestling team posted its second straight with a 24-19 victory over Princeton Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers were led by Ricky Eichenlaub (Woodcliffe Lake, NJ) who earned a pin and William Beiermeister (Boonton, NJ) who won the final and deciding match of the meet. [+]

Wrestling Downs Delaware State, 29-9

Sacred Heart won five of eight matches, including three matches by pinfall to post a 29-9 victory over Delaware State in wrestling action Wednesday night at the Pitt Center. SHU celebrated Senior Night prior to the match. [+]
