FAIRFIELD, CT - The Sacred Heart wrestling team got pins from senior Chris Davis (Mohawk, NY), and junior Cory Dunn (Rutherford, NJ) and sophomore Ricky Eichenlaub (Woodcliffe, NY) to defeat visiting Stevens Tech 31-13 Monday night.

Freshman Dylan Huddleston (Montvale, NJ) got things going with an easy 17-8 decision at 125 pounds. Dunn then pinned Brad Warren of Stevens Tech in just 20 seconds at 133. Davis followed that up with a pin at 7:59 - just :01 before time expired in the match.

Anthony Priore (Garwood, NJ) squeaked out a 1-0 decision at 149, and freshman Austin Alpaugh (Lafayette, NJ) gave the Pioneers a 22-0 lead with a 7-4 win over Leo Dormann at 157 pounds.

Stevens Tech won the bouts at 165 and 174 pounds, but Eichenlaub put the match away when he pinned the Duck's Vince Termini at 6:05 at 184 pounds. Heavyweight Bill Beirmeister closed the scoring with a 3-2 win in his match.
