FAIRFIELD, Conn. (December 6, 2007) - Sacred Heart University Athletic Director Don Cook and head track & field coach Christian Morrison announced the hiring of Jonathan Debogory as an assistant coach for the upcoming indoor and outdoor track seasons.

Debogory joins the Pioneer coaching staff after spending the last two season as an assistant coach at Campbell University. While at Campbell, he coached the multi-event athlets as well as the high jumpers, pole-vaulters and throws while also handling travel and recruiting. He earned a Masters of Education while at the University.

Prior to his stint at Campbell, Debogory spent 2004 at Lynchburg College where he also coached national qualifiers in the weight throw, long jump, 400-meter hurdles as well as the decathlon and heptathlon.

Debogory graduated from Liberty University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
