FAIRFIELD, Conn. (May 8) - Junior Arman Dixon (Beacon, NY) was named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Sacred Heart Student-Athlete of Week for the week of April 29th through May 6th.

Sacred Heart's Dixon earned Most Valuable Performer honors as the junior kept his win streak in tact, taking the gold in the 100m (10.75) and the 200m (21.55) while also placing fifth in the long jump (6.88m) at this weekend's Northeast Conference Championship at Monmouth. Dixon won the Most Valuable Perfomrer honors at the NEC Indoor Championship during the winter season. He also took home this year's Outdoor Most Outstanding Track Performer award, sharing the honor with FDU's Samuel Chelanga.

Dixon won the NEC's weekly track award four times this spring and is coming off an indoor season where he claimed All-American honors after finishing seventh in the 200 meters at the NCAA Championships. During the NEC Indoor meet, Dixon won the long jump, the 200 meters and set a new NEC record in winning the 60 meters.

Dixon will be competiting at the New England Championship this weekend.
