Ferguson, the reigning NEC Athlete of the Week, won the mile in a time of 4:11.28. He cut six seconds off his personal best time set last Saturday at Yale. Jackson took first place in the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.78 seconds, edging out teammate Gregory Hazell by 0.04 seconds. Jackson also finished second in the triple jump (13.36m) and high jump (1.90m). Hazell also cleared 1.90m in the high jump to tie Jackson for second place.
Troiani won the shot put with a throw of 15.69m. He also finished second in the weight throw with a toss of 16.45m. Phillip Miccio placed fourth in both the shot put (14.37m) and weight throw (15.69m). Scott Polis had a second place showing in the pole vault, clearing 4.40m. Back on the track, freshman Osedebamen had third place finishes in both the 200m (22.36) and 400m (50.39).
Sacred Heart is back in action on Jan. 24-25 in the Harvard Multi-Events meet.
