FAIRFIELD, CT (April 15, 2005) - The Sacred Heart men's tennis team lost a 7-0 decision to Quinnipiac University Thursday afternoon. The Pioneers travel to Forhdam on Tuesday before next weekend's Northeast Conference Championship.

SHU's Jared Dye (Bridgeport, CT) lost a tough match at #1 singles, falling to Mike Racioppo. Dye lost the first set 6-4 and the second set 7-6 (9).

The Pioneers will be the #3 seed in next weekend's championship to be held in West Windsor, NJ. SHU will face Fairleigh Dickinson in the opening round.
