Pioneers Cruise Past St. Francis Brooklyn 6-1

FAIRFIELD, Conn – The Sacred Heart men's tennis team swept the doubles point and won five of six singles matches en route to a 6-1 win over the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers Saturday afternoon at the SHU Tennis Courts. With the win, the Pioneers snap a four game losing streak and climb to 2-2 in the Northeast Conference this season.

After sweeping the three doubles matches, the Pioneers won five all singles matches in straight sets, dropping just eight games in the process. Kevin Budrawich (New Canaan, CT), Matt Dean (Newington, CT), and Alex Bose (Tucson, AZ) were all 6-0, 6-0 winners for Sacred Heart.

The Pioneers look for two in row Sunday afternoon against St. Joseph's at 2:00 pm.
