SHU Tennis Loses 7-2 to BYU-Hawaii

LAIE, Hawaii (March, 5th, 2014) – The Sacred Heart men's tennis team dropped their second consecutive match in Hawaii Tuesday night, falling 7-2* to the BYU-Hawaii Seasiders. Sacred Heart falls to 2-4 on the season.

Freshman Anthony Savio (Bangalore, India) defeated Taylor De Hoyas, 6-3, 6-0, at number six singles, while Kevin Budrawich (New Canaan, CT) and Justin Pagan (Flushing, NY) earned an 8-6 doubles win for Sacred Heart's two points. At number three singles, Matt Dean (Newington, CT) lost a tough three setter to Wei-Feng Lee, 6-3, 1-6, 10-7.

Sacred Heart will take on Hawaii-Hilo to wrap up its Hawaii Spring Break on Sunday afternoon.

*Division II scoring counts all matches as points.
