In terms of the soccer team, SHU's team was immediately attractive because of the diverse and international mix of players which is very important to me and is - I believe - an advantage in any sports team. After my phone call with the coaching staff I knew SHU was where I wanted to go and felt like I was part of the team from the start. In terms of the location, I was very nervous about leaving Egypt and living half way across the world, but Fairfield CT is so close to NYC and the campus looks amazing with so much to offer its students.
