Pioneers Drop NEC Tilt at Fairleigh Dickinson, 1-0

(Teaneck, NJ) – The Sacred Heart Men's Soccer team fell 1-0 on the road to the Fairleigh Dickenson Knights Friday night.

Yusuv Hamza netted the game's only goal in the 29th minute, taking a cross from outside on the right from Antony Moore.  Jack McVey also earned an assist.

That was the only goal Tucker Hackett (Madison, CT) would allow, as the freshman goalkeeper made eight saves.  FDU outshot SHU 21-3 for the game, including 8-0 in a first half that set the tone for the match.

Sacred Heart returns to action Sunday evening at 6:00 pm when the Pioneers host LIU-Brooklyn.
