SHU's McGlensey Recognized by Inside Lacrosse Magazine

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (December 11, 2007) - Sacred Heart senior defenseman Brett McGlensey (West Chester, PA) was named to the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-Colonial Athletic Association team in a vote by the league's coaches. McGlensey was also a Preseason All-American Honorable Mention.

McGlensey cemented himself as one of the top-defenders in the CAA last season, earning a spot on the league's all-conference second team. McGlensey was the only Pioneer to start all 12 games on the defensive unit last season. He led all SHU defenders with 33 ground balls, a number that put him second on the team. For his career, McGlensey heads into his final year in the Red & White with 59 grounders in 39 games played.

Face-Off Yearbook, the most referenced preview guide for men's college lacrosse, will be released Dec. 13 at the IMLCA Clinic in Philadelphia.
