    PHILADEPHIA, Pa. – With just under nine minutes remaining, the Sacred Heart University men’s lacrosse team (5-6, 1-3 NEC) found the back of the net to bring the game to its eighth and final tie. However, Saint Joseph’s (6-3, 3-0 NEC) generated a 3-1 run to escape the tightly contested Northeast Conference battle, 14-12, Sunday afternoon at Sweeney Field.

The action is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. on Sweeney Field.

    FAIRFIELD, Conn. – After trailing by one midway through the fourth quarter, the first deficit for the Sacred Heart University men’s lacrosse team, Logan Liljeberg blasted a go-ahead winner with 56 ticks pictured on the clock. His tally provided the 10-9 Northeast Conference win over Mount St. Mary’s (3-7, 0-3 NEC) Saturday afternoon on Campus Field, the first league win for SHU (5-5, 1-2) this season.

    FAIRFIELD, Conn, - The Sacred Heart University men’s lacrosse team (4-5, 0-2 NEC) edged Bryant by two in the second quarter’s final minutes on the backend of a 3-0 run. However, the Bulldogs (4-5, 2-0 NEC) provided a pair of answers prior to the break all part of an 11-0 surge that ultimately closed out the Northeast Conference game, 16-7, Saturday afternoon at Campus Field.
