Milford, CT - Sacred Heart and Army will meet for the second time this week Sunday afternoon at Tate Rink. Game time is 2:00 pm. The Pioneers, who won 4-2 in Milford on Tuesday night are coming of a 4-3 overtime win against RPI Friday night in Troy. The Pioneers are now unbeaten in six of their last seven games.
The Black Knights have been off since dropping the 4-2 decision to Sacred Heart Tuesday night. After thegame was tied at 1 at the end of the second period, the Pioneers scored three goals in the final stanza to notch the win. Junior Pierre-Luc O'Brien and freshman Bear Trapp each recorded one goal and one assist. Trapp scored the game winning goal. The Pioneers utshot the Knights 43-18, but Brad Roberts made 39 saves to keep Army close in the game. The Pioneers have now won 14 of the last 17 meetings with the Black Knights.
