MILFORD, CT (November 23) - The Pioneers enter tonight's contest with the Bobcats looking to rebound from their first Atlantic Hockey loss of the season, after being downed by Canisius 4-1 on November 13. The Pioneers are not in first place for the first time this season, as their idle weekend has allowed the aforementioned Golden Griffins to leap frog the Pioneers in the standings with 10 points compared to the Pioneers eight. The Bobcats, the last team to get involved with conference play, picked up three points this past weekend, tying Bentley on the road, 3-3, on Friday night, before shutting out the Falcons at home, 5-0, on Saturday.
The Pioneers trail the Bobcats in the all-time series 6-19-4 after being swept in the season series in 2003-04. The last time Sacred Heart toppled the Bobcats was a 4-1 victory on Jan. 31, 2003 at the Milford Ice Pavilion.
