Former Pioneer Paquet on the move

Aug. 24, 2004

Former Sacred Heart University standout Martin Paquet, entering his second professional season, has signed on with the Fort Worth Brahmas of the Central Hockey League for the 2004-05 season. Paquet, who's 142 points still ranks first all-time for Sacred Heart, split time between the Dayton Bombers and Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL. In a combined 73 games, Paquet netted 12 goals and 38 assists for 50 points. Paquet's offensive skills will help bolster a Brahmas team that ranked last in the CHL in scoring last season with 150 goals in 64 matches.
