Fairfield, CT - Following their upset of No. 14 Cornell, the Pioneers men's ice hockey team has picked up spots in the various national rankings. The Pioneers garnered 41 votes in the USCHO/CSTV poll, making them the top team in the "also receiving votes" portion of the poll. The team also picked up votes in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll. SHU is ranked 19th in the Inside College Hockey.com power rankings this week. The Pioneers are unbeaten in their last five games and have registered at least one point in 13 of their last 14 games.

The Pioneers return to the ice tonight when they travel to Springfield to face American International College. Face-off is set for 7:00 pm.
