Junior Bear Trapp put the Pioneers up early with a powerplay goal 6:03 into the game. Trapp took a pass from senior Alexandre Parent (Boisbriand, QC) and rifled a shot from the left face-off circle that went high over the shoulder of Crusader goaltender Adam Roy and under the crossbar into the net.
