FAIRFIELD, Conn. (October 10, 2008) - Sacred Heart senior Patrick Fillian (Tinton Falls, NJ) picked up his second Northeast Conference Golfer of the Week this season after another top-10 performance at last week's Yale MacDonald Cup.

Fillian garners his sixth career NEC Golfer of the Week honor after taking home his second top-10 performance of 2008-09 at the MacDonald Cup, hosted by Yale on Oct. 4-5. Fillian claimed seventh place overall, shooting a 215 (69-73-73) on the par-70, 6,750-yard Yale Golf Course. The senior bested all NEC participants from the three institutions that competed (SHU, CCSU, QU) and helped the Pioneers earn a fourth-place standing overall in the 15-team field that featured 79 golfers.
