FAIRFIELD, CT (October 3, 2005) - Men's golf sophomore Tom Campbell (Wall, NJ) was named the Sacred Heart Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of September 26 through October 2nd.

Campbell finished second at the E.C.A.C Championships this past weekend at the Tunxis Plantation Golf Course in Farmington, Connecticut. Campbell was tied for 9th after day one, shooting an even-par 72 over the first 18 holes. Campbell came back with a two under 68 on the second day of competition with even par at 70 for the second 18 holes. He placed second overall in the individual rankings. Campbell has led the Pioneers early on this season with two top-five finishes as well as the top-five low round scores of the season.

The Pioneers return to action this weekend at the Yale McDonald Cup.
