Men's Golf head coach Michael Giaquinto cheched in and had this to say about the upcoming season:

"The team is having a slow start, but it's a rebuilding year, we lost three seniors and two other players that transferred out. Four of the seven players on the roster haven't participated in intercollegiate competition. We are lacking the competition and serious practice. Scheduling practice is hectic due to the team's class schedules, no more than two have the same afternoons off, there is no way they can have a full practice, most practice on their own when their schedules permit. In addition, we don't have a dedicated practice facility like all the other schools in our conference. We have limited access to the Connecticut Golf Club. We choose not practice at Fairchild Wheeler because of the course's horrendous condition. Even so, the boys have a positive outlook for the season. They will play better when they get the experience needed."
