Full Results and Photos from 107th NJSGA Championship

Sacred Heart junior golfer Patrick Fillian (Tinton Falls, NJ), fresh off Northeast Conference Golfer of the Year and PING All-Regional honors, got his summer vacation underway by finishing seventh at the 107th New Jersey State Golf Amateur Championship earlier this month. Fillian shot a 302 over four-rounds at the Little Mill Country Club in Marlton, NJ to tie for seventh overall at the event.

Fillian shot a 78 and 79 on day one on the par 71, 6,839 yard course. He bounced back nicely over the final two rounds shooting par in round three and a 74 over the final 18 holes. Fillian took sixth at the event last summer.

The tournament consisted of 72-holes, Stroke Play while the field consisited of 90 players. 18 holes were played on both Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4 and the 40 lowest scorers and ties for the first 36 holes continued play on Thursday, June 5; the remainder of field was eliminated after 36 holes.
