FAIRFIELD, CT - The Sacred Heart football team dropped its 2006 opener last week, 25-14 to Lafayette. The Pioneers hit the road this week in search of their first victory when they take on the Red Foxes of Marist College at 7:00 p.m. in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Marist opened the season at Central Connecticut, losing to the Blue Devils 34-6. The Red Foxes only turned the ball over once and won the time of possession battle, but were unable to shutdown the CCSU running game. Central ran for 288 yards and five touchdowns.

The Red Foxes got 75 yards rushing from junior Obozua Ehikioya on 17 carries. He also caught one pass out of the backfield from junior QB Steve McGrath.
