FAIRFIELD, Conn. (August 12, 2008) - The Sacred Heart football team will make an appereance on TV this season when they take on the Wagner Seahawks live on the Madison Square Garden Network. The game has been moved to Friday night, October 31st at 7:00 pm and will be part of the Northeast Conference Football Television package.

The Pioneers will open the season on August 30th when they play host to Assumption College at 6:00 pm as they break-in the newly renovated Campus Field and newly installed permanent lights. SHU will also play Bentley in a Week 2 match-up under the lights.
